Apparently, Alexander also shares this power. However, information technology is entirely possible that the game just omits Daniel'south dialogue.

Agrippa is used as a plot device to resemble Daniel's morality. If the histrion chooses not to save Agrippa, Daniel volition be depicted as selfish and mean. If the player fabricated the effort to save Agrippa with Weyer'due south tonic, Daniel will be depicted every bit charitable and sympathetic. These choices also affect how Alexander first responds when finally confronted, and loading screen messages explaining the fate of Daniel's sis, Hazel. If Agrippa's severed head was placed in Alexander's portal at the finish of the game and Daniel is consumed by The Shadow, Agrippa'southward voice is heard, pointing to Daniel's skillful graphic symbol by stating that he "deserves so much more".

Daniel could create Johann Weyer's tonic, giving him the option to free Agrippa. Upon being fed the tonic, Daniel was asked to saw off Agrippa's head, which can so exist put into the histrion'southward inventory.

In the terminal portion of the game, Daniel tin place Agrippa'due south head into the portal afterward it opens, where Agrippa was teleported into the Other World. The Shadow so keep to kill both Daniel and Alexander, but Daniel volition be saved by Agrippa and Johann Weyer. The game ended with Agrippa asking Johann to help Daniel and told him everything would be alright.

If Daniel refuses to help Agrippa, then it is probable he meets his end at the hands of the Shadow.

If Daniel saws off Agrippa's caput merely doesn't put it through the portal, so he most likely dies after Weyer'due south tonic wears off.
